My name is Megumi Kazama, a Japanese therapist based in New York.
I began my work in a small treatment room in Manhattan, offering Japanese-style aromatherapy.
Through each session, I started to notice how deeply the body responds
— not only physically, but through the nervous system.
The more I worked, the more I felt that something important happens when the body is truly ready to rest.
Over time, I came to believe that the most natural moment for this kind of work is before sleep.
A quiet time, when the body no longer needs to do anything, and can simply receive.
This is how this evening ritual was created.
My approach is slow, quiet, and intentional.
I work with the whole body, from feet to head, using gentle touch, aroma, and subtle techniques inspired by meridian work and energy flow.
Nothing is rushed.
The goal is not to fix, but to allow the body to soften and return to its natural rhythm.
